And yet, Self-knowledge is the only way to Happiness!
I am at a turning point in my life! I feel very strongly the need to discover all aspects of myself, even the most hidden ones. I want to get in touch with my true self! A self, who is not afraid to pursue his dreams and who does not hesitate to claim what he deserves. I wish to understand who I really am, who I want to be and what has prevented me so far from getting there! I am ready to put the puzzle pieces of my life together. I want to understand what drove me to behave in certain ways towards my fellow human beings, but also towards myself.
I want to become aware of my way of thinking and understand where it comes from. I wish to shape it in a way to make my life more functional. I want to identify my strengths, strengthen them and highlight them. At the same time, I seek to find my weak points and work on them to eliminate them! The phrase 'Self-awareness: the only path to happiness' repeats itself in my mind...
I know that the process of self-awareness is continuous, however, I am willing to take this beautiful journey! I will evolve, as I get closer each time to my center, my balance and my peace of mind, I will be able to know what I am looking for in every moment and I will set clear goals to achieve it! I know, of course, that this road will not be paved with rose petals, as I will lose myself and find it again! Because, after all, everyone's truth is not just one and as you change, you redefine it too, just like you!
What can I do about it?
- Let's start journaling! To record my thoughts, my feelings, my experiences, to write down what I could have done better, why I didn't do it and what I should do to not repeat the same behavior. In this way, I will understand what is going on in my mind, what patterns are repeating themselves, what my truth is and, by extension, what my deepest values are! The book 'Make It Happen' contributes to this!
- To do a SWOT Analysis, recording my strengths and weaknesses, but also noting the opportunities and threats presented to me in the external environment.
- To start new activities, which I like, to see if they suit me or not. To realize what attracts or repels me respectively in order to make the corresponding choices, which represent me and which are consistent with my truth.
- To be more social! To socialize with more people, to establish relationships, which will be my mirror, through which it will be easier to become aware of myself! To also see what I admire in the people with whom I have contact, but also what troubles me about them and why this happens.
- Meditate 10 minutes a day! To empty my mind of thoughts, gain self-control and calm down to be more composed in my thinking and consequently, in my way of acting.
- To walk every day for 2 hours, to discharge, relax and gain control over my emotions.
- To start psychotherapy, but also life coaching, at the same time, to find my core, the source of my problems, how to manage them. Then, to set clear goals to get a little closer to my vision!
Self-awareness is the only way to happiness and fulfillment!
Happiness is hidden inside you... All you have to do is discover it!
