Ways to improve communication skills

From communication skills how are we doing??
Do you also find it difficult to communicate effectively with others? Do you feel like your voice isn't being heard and that you can't bring out aspects of your personality? Do you feel that your opinion has no value and you do not dare to speak up or do you talk through your teeth?
Then, the time has come to turn this weakness of yours into a strength and make it your competitive advantage, which will characterize your brand name!

What can you do to improve your communication skills?
- Start reading extracurricular books on a topic that interests you to enrich your vocabulary and to acquire more structured thinking, with a beginning, middle and end.
- Start studying dictionaries to find synonyms, but also antonyms of the words you use in your daily life so as not to repeat yourself and tire your interlocutor.
- Read more intensively journalistic, scientific articles, but also all kinds of articles, through which the same or similar, similar topics are approached in order to train yourself in different ways of developing a topic.
- Practice making summaries in books and texts you read, so that you learn to express what you want succinctly.
- Improve your posture by opening your chest, but also keeping your body straight, so that you feel confident, your voice sounds better and you inspire confidence in others.
- Visit a voice specialist to teach you to breathe properly and by extension, to speak properly, in a way that your words have a positive impact on others and you can ultimately lead for the common good!
- Define in your mind and then write down in detail on paper how you would like to present yourself when you go out! Then do some tests in your room, talking to yourself and video yourself! Watch it, then, carefully and focus on your body language, voice and words, in order to realize what needs improvement!
So after making this individual and completely solitary effort, try to go out and communicate with people you want! Before you start talking, it would help to do the following:
- Take your time before answering! Organize your thoughts, put in a row what you want to say and color them, based on the message you want to convey to your interlocutor.
- Listen carefully! Develop your active listening, try to put yourself in the other person's shoes and connect with them! Don't think about what to say after the other person has finished or even worse, don't interrupt them to talk!
- Remember to take breaks! Do not rush to develop your speech and leave some time for the other person to understand what you are saying.
- Speak with honesty, authenticity and clarity, without offending and hurting people. Express your feeling and don't resort to characterizations!
- Don't be miserable and pessimistic all the time, as that doesn't make you socially attractive!
- Speak comprehensively and use your body language more!
Develop your communication skills and enjoy their benefits!
