Everyone's coming back...
Friends, companions...
Eventually, everyone comes back! Sooner or later, everyone knocks on your door again. They seek contact with you, because they find that you treated them well and left with dignity by choice. No crying and begging!
Others come around, coming under your house, others come 'accidentally' to the place you frequent when you are not working, others send you a message and others call you.
They come and give you a sincere apology, apologize for their actions and ask for a second chance!
It can be seen from their body movements, their small facial expressions and the tone of their voice that they are truly remorseful and want to make amends.
Something that makes you happy, because you realize how when you respect yourself and behave well, others respect you too.
You rise in their eyes. You show that you have personality and dignity. You show independence and superiority. Characteristics very attractive to a man.
They confess their true feelings to you and ask you for a second chance.
An opportunity that you don't know if you should give!
It has been a long time! You have moved on with your life! You have made other choices that make you truly happy!
Because someone who loves you doesn't upset you. He fills your life, fights for your relationship and doesn't give up at the first opportunity.
He's just there, trying. He supports you with all his being and does not make false promises. Promises he can't keep!
And so, you come to the conclusion that you should not give it a chance! You just have to accept the apology and get on with your life!
A life you built with a lot of effort and through successive adversities, part of which these people created for you. People, who just one day, left, without much explanation and now, they ask you for a chance to re-enter your life.
It's nice to admit your mistakes first to yourself and then to the other person, but that doesn't invalidate the past. It doesn't make you forget what came before, and how long it took you to recover.
You can't and it's not worth putting yourself through this process again as you will most likely be betrayed again. Because once they've done it once, there's a chance they'll do it again.
Because things are simple and you have to see them as they are or not, as you like to see them every time!
Don't live with illusions!
See reality as it is,
accept it and see how you will act based on the data you have and not on what you would like to have.
